Dope-seeds pungent skunk is a cheesy flavoured skunk strain based on the ‘UK cheese’ cannabis strain. This pungent skunk strain was first developed by the Exodus Collective of cannabis growers in the UK in the 1990’s and was originally available as a clone only strain. Our version of this cheesy skunk strain is now available in female seed form and will not disappoint.
Pungent skunk (formerly known as cheese) is a legendary skunk strain from the UK which was passed around in clone form only for many years by the Exodus crew until it was refined and released in seed form by the big Buddha. Pungent skunk (formerly known as cheese) started life as an extra stinky Skunk #1 pheno which was renowned for its pungent and sour aroma, powerful effect and excellent yields. Over many generations it has been refined into a more uniform strain which works well in Sea of Green setups and does well indoors and out. Carbon filters are a must when growing this strain indoors as the aroma is very powerful and will really stink the place up! Indoors expect plants to reach around 1m in height and yield 60-80g per plant or around 500g per metre squared. Outdoors the plants can reach 2m in height and yield 500g per plant if given enough sunshine, space and food. The flowering period is generally around 8 weeks but this plant cane be left a little longer if you are looking for a more knockout stoned effect. Pungent skunk (formerly known as cheese) has Afghani genetics in ancestry so the buds are compact, hard and will be covered in trichomes. The amount of resin when you touch the buds is ridiculous and you will be left with seriously sticky fingers! Once cured the pungent aroma becomes more pleasant and when smoked cheese has a fantastic flavour. The effect is powerful yet relaxing and perfect for medical users looking to relieve stress or aid sleep. Pungent skunk (formerly known as cheese) has won many cannabis cups over recent years and is consistently a favourite in Dutch coffee-shops and grow rooms across the world. She really is a fantastic strain!
